Volunteer Involved Parents Induction Ceremony

The Volunteer Involved Parents Induction Ceremony was held with warmth and purpose as the school community gathered to welcome and recognize parents who have chosen to offer their time and effort in support of school programs and activities.

The short program took place right after the Mass for the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, celebrated by Father Tomasz Zalewski, OP. The occasion carried a special meaning, as the celebration of Mary’s birth reminded everyone of her humility, faith, and willingness to serve — virtues that inspire all who dedicate themselves to the school community.

Ms. Agosh Librea, the Extracurricular Activities Coordinator, administered the oath of office to the newly inducted parents, while Sr. Jacqueline C. Manuel, OP, the Directress/Principal, confirmed their commitment to serve. In her message, Sr. Jacqueline expressed gratitude to the parents for their readiness to share their time, talents, and dedication in support of the school’s mission.

A ceremonial turnover of the by-laws also took place, marking the official transition of responsibilities. Ms. Janice Liu, the outgoing Chairperson, formally handed over the by-laws to Mr. Willis Lu, the newly inducted Chairperson. The gesture symbolized unity, trust, and the continuity of shared goals in supporting the school community.

The ceremony was simple yet heartfelt — a beautiful reminder that volunteerism is an act of love and faith in action. As the new volunteer parents begin their journey, they carry with them a renewed spirit of cooperation and service, strengthening the bond between home, school, and community.
