The Dominican International School recently hosted the AEO Fall University Fair, providing a wonderful opportunity for high school students to explore higher education options and interact directly with university representatives. The fair offered students an in-depth look at admissions procedures, scholarship opportunities, academic programs, and campus life, helping them make informed decisions about their future studies.
Several university counselors from local and international institutions participated, sharing their expertise and guidance with the students. They engaged in lively discussions, answered questions, and provided valuable insights into what universities look for in prospective students. The event was designed not only to inform but also to inspire students to consider a wide range of academic possibilities.

The fair was organized by Ms. Anne Portillo, Career Counselor, and warmly welcomed by Principal Sr. Jacqueline C. Manuel, OP, who emphasized the importance of thoughtful preparation and planning in pursuing higher education. Faculty support was strong, led by Mr. Schoeman, Academic and Curriculum Coordinator, ensuring that students had the guidance and assistance they needed throughout the day.
Students took full advantage of the opportunity, visiting different booths, gathering brochures, and speaking with counselors to understand more about potential paths after high school. The fair encouraged students to reflect on their academic goals, identify their strengths, and consider which universities best align with their aspirations.
